Definitely not a cat of any kind, the snout (is that the right word?) is too bloody long and the wrong shape/ proportion overall... going by the shape of the skull & (molars?) teeth I'd bet on this being some species ruminant/ bovid... a deer of some variety perhaps?

Yes, it is a mammal and should be a Deer.

it is not a muntjac as the teeth are not curved enough nor small enough.

sharmaji why are u so sure it cant be a deer?

its not a wild boar. please note that apart from the skull differences, wild boar teeth always grow upwards (general direction; please dont go into the angles and meaning of upwards).

Its a Barking Deer,a Male,they have small antlers and a set of extended canine teeth on there upper jaw 8)
