setting up a camp fire without matches/lighter

Post by doctor » Fri Dec 12, 2008 11:59 pm

i am sure most of the adventures out here carry a lighter or a matchbox whenever out there with nature .
here are some videos which show how to light a fire without lighters just in case you are out there and require to set up a fire.

quiet some weird methods but they do work

Actually Badhshah, flint is a stone but a particular type of stone.Just because you get a spark when you strike two stones together does not make the stone a flint stone

Raj,

I have seen welders use a device to create a spark.Never really bothered to look closely but I am sure it is flint and steel.Looks a lot like this Image

You should be able to get one quite easily.Look in any shop dealing in metals.
