Hi Guys….
After a long time of continuous working, needed a break, before anything could come up , found Myself on the road to WASI on My Pulser,
Man.. it was Freezing cold ,was shivering all the way & after taking deviation to Malavalli from Mysore …visibility was low as it was foggy…,
After reaching there, tried to relax my legs in the water & tried testing My torn frog near the bushes to test its buoyancy…bang…& the frog was gone …to my surprise it a mural of 2kg which hit was hiding next to my feet, after a few sec,,, could see my frog floating into the main canal with the flow….so before I could start fishing …had lost my lucky frog, ….
So tried spinning ,caught 2 Mahseers of 1-2 kg, then with the guard went into the lake for some Murral action,….seemed like it was not my lucky day as had caught only few small mural of 1-2 kg…then asked the guard to take me near the canal…casted my lucky spinner & the moment it hit the water, was taken….my reel screamed for few seconds & before I could do anything …..my line snapped & spinner was gone ….I thought this was one my worst days , had lost my lucky spinner & frog & no decent size fish…..so with heavy heart headed for Lunch & some shade, The Guard was trying to cheer me up by saying that murrls are there & due to high water level had gone into the vegetation,
After lunch was had some rest & then took to the lake to try my luck…seems like lake was coming alive….could see some small murrals playing…was not interested in catching them..so wanted to try a corner of the lake where the water was placid, guard informed that placed had been covered by previous guests without any success, convinced him to try it once, casted the frog & Boom…got a 2 & half kg Murrall.
With 19 murralls caught…decided to call it a day…paddling back…saw some disturbance near the canal…was informed that its some Big fish(rohu ),had a gut feeling. asked the guard to row over there to try a last cast…casted & started to retrieve….Another Big Bang…thought I had scared a gang of Rohu’s…suddenly My line became tight & there it was the Biggest Murral I have seen …doing Tail walking to shake off the Frog….was not sure what to do, was holding onto my dear rod ….was sure that my last frog is also gone….it was crazy …the fish was running in all directions…after 10 min…landed it…My Digital scale read 14.10 LB (6.4kg)..,released the fish after reviving,man..I was happy
