dear friends visited hemkund saheb in the himalayas for the 14th time and this was the first time i flew in a helicopter details and pictures will follow

Looks beautiful, the write up on Wikipedia is also very tempting. The Valley of Flowers looks like it could be in Lord of the Rings or Narnia movies. I'm sure you had a good time.

Colthead thats great and its some ride up the hair pin road.
My uncle was posted at Joshimat. Badrinath is also near by.
As Sharief mentioned Valley of wild flowers is also a great place to trek. There was an english or american lady who lived there.

dear friends
the picture that you see showing the full view of the trail was taken from +22000 ft by a keen trecker it took him 2 months for this one pic as this area is always covered with clouds so it is very difficult to get a clear picture i bought that pic from him , the others are taken by me , well it was my 14th trip to the gurudwara and GOD has given me the strength to go there practically every year since i went there first
i will post some pics of the helicopter that i went in it was great ,
the valley of flowers is a great place but the right time to visit is june end july begining to see the flowers
the treck is tough and exciting every time you are here
