Hi Guys....

Posting some Pic's of my Last trip to WASI stretch....Man it was Windy & drizzling :( ,bad day for Spinning...worse than that was with friends who had no idea abt fishing :? & had to show them new places to keep them from nagging me...had little time to fish :(

Caught some Murrals & Mahseers using Mepps 4 Spinners, also caught a carnatic carp of 5 pounds (I guess) on a mepps 4 Spinner ,hooked on to a mahseer atleast of 4kg ,handed the rod to one of my friend who wanted to feel the Mighty mahseer,as expected snagged the line & had to cut the line :(
,
Catch of the day was a 5kg Murral(on scale) :D from Cottage Lake,
was infomred by the guard that after a long time some one had caught a big murral from the cottage lake.
:D

Also met Rustum & Inder there......

Looks like you guys had a blast. Looking at all those pics makes me want to get me rod and line, and go out to get them fish. Great pics,
Tight lines. :)

Binu,

Just realised that you are not wearing a life jacket whilst fishing from the coracle. None of us like it but please wear one as it will only cause problems for you and the committee if the head engineer at the power station sees you fishing without one.

Talking about life jackets, I met a friendly person in a store in Bangalore, who offered to make jackets (he had some already) the way we want it (with pockets et al), if the order surpassed 20 numbers.
If we have that corum, I will meet him again and what best can be done.

Thanks for the Advice Mack The Knife. :D .
but 2 days before the trip i had Dislocated my Shoulder :( & was unable to stretch my arms to wear the life jacket ..matter of fact i am unable to move my arm even Now(no more fishing 4 a month)...otherwise i usually wear it,

& i think its high time for WASI to get some new good fitting :) Life jackets.

Viper,
See my mail above .. if a good number of us get together, we could get nice jackets stitched the way we want.
I would like to drive this to give Indian outfits a chance against the several online imported offers we have :)

Anand,

Start a new thread on the subject. If possible try and post pics of existing examples and ask the chap to quote a price.
