My mom is visiting us from Chicago and wanted to go fishing. Found a charter close by and went on a morning half day trip. Had a good time - all 3 generations.

I would guess that being out on the lake would be one way to stay cool, considering the present weather there. Does your Mom mind it, coming from Chicago? Of course, what Chicago lacks in high temperature it makes up in humidity, but then, she has a real lake there, doesn't she?

We were more familiar with Lavon, but I couldn't say anything about the fishing there.
