Going fishing with Stevie Wonder tomorrow.

Post by Mack The Knife » Wed Oct 31, 2007 2:52 pm

Us Bangalore boys have a holiday tomorrow, so it's off to the WASI stretch for a day's spinning and ledgering.

Accompanying me is Stevie Wonder. No kidding! If you don't believe me, wait for the pics.

So you boys, work hard and maybe, just maybe, you lot will have a somewhat okay day at office and don't forget to think of me having a ball.

Oh, I almost forgot... I needed to load some line (not for tomorrow) and since there was no one to catch the spool, I came up with this contraption. I can set the tension just the way I want it and best of all it stays at that tension.

Grrr woof woof bark grrr. damn you (hear the words a few seconds later as this is a chinese movie soundtrack) cut to shot of me pointing towards Mack The Knife with stabbing action of forefinger.
Mack The Knife flips thru the air somersaulting in slow motion(unbelievable but anything can happen in a chinese movie) towards me.
He lands a foot away.
His lips move as you see him jabbing towards his own nose with index finger: 'You talking to me??"
Fade out. Sound of my fist striking and a heavy body tumbling thru mid air. Horizontal spins about two feet over ground John woo style.
Music: No new years day, no warm july....
Fade.
Music as credits roll: Imagine all the people living for the day...hope some day you will join us.

Thanks, Sanjay. It's been raining the last few days (again!) but here's hoping for the best.

There's no fixed plan of action but I think we will be targeting murral for atleast four to six hours. 'Stevie' will soon discover muscles and tendons that he did not even know off. ;)

The Darlings need to make a weekend trip sometime before 20th December or sometime in Jan or Feb.

I, for one, wouldn't complain. It's better than pushing a pen or tapping away on a keyboard.

My raincoat was as useful as a chocolate teapot when I last used it on the trip with Asif and Sanjay.

6 hours on the coracle do make me unusally creaky, oh my aching knees.BUT-Has really helped my casting technique.has its spinoff's I guess?
I use a power screwdriver to load line -nice torquey , slow wind, and line stays snug too-another spin off off having no help in loading line.
catch one for me Mack The Knife, NOT John Woo style-just a regular 3 kg marral ;)
Best
Axx
