working strain... gun dog
imho almost all dogs from good working stock or strain will train easily. Do check with the breeder that the pup is from working strain.
Grandfather was a very experienced gun dog trainer, had bred & trained several field trail champions in India. The Gun Dog league of India ceased to exist once hunting was banned ..
