been out of touch with the indian market foe a while.
can someone tell me about the price, where to buy japanese quail in bulk in India?

can someone tell me about other 'game meat' LEGALLY available in India ( for bulk purchase).
can you also supply addresses.

I am not sure about bulk prices but in Bangalore they charge Rs.25.00 per bird.

While talking about game birds.. Is there any foreign breed available for partridge also?

I recently saw somebody carrying a cage full of some birds which looked like partridges :?

Many 5 Star hotels in Delhi have quail on the menu - so if you know someone who works at one, you should be able to get the supplier(s) names/ numbers from them...

Try Ponnuswamy on Residency road.Not sure if they have partridges on their menu but they had rabbit and pigeon the last time I was there.

pigon eh - i wonder if the pigeons flying around the high rise buildings are edible
They are (almost everything is, for that matter) but I would advice staying away from them as they could be disease carriers. Failing which cook these vermin (or atleast they should be tagged as such) thoroughly before consuming.
