Woman kills leopard in Rudraprayag

Exhibiting amazing courage, a woman from Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district fended herself from a leopard and escaped with serious injuries on Sunday.
The struggle lasted for an hour, when 54-year-old Kamla Devi in an act of self-defence managed to grievously injure the leopard with a sickle.
Despite suffering three fractures and deep cuts, a determined Kamla valiantly fought off the spotted cat and also walked about one km all by herself to reach her village before she found help.
