Who posed the greater danger to the shooters? The Boar or the shooters? :lol: They almost shot each other.But, that was some slick shooting.

I saw this video recently, don't recall where, but it was a poor quality video. This one's much better and what I see is scary.

In all probablity these chaps have done a hunter safety course and yet...

All in all five shots,four from the handgun and the fifth,rifle, chiming in the last. I don't know if it was in Spain.Could have been anywhere in the South-West as they do have lots of similar dry country. I don't think the boar was charging.It was running where there was only one chap in its way. And too look at those three scampering away from the charge... and one nearly getting bored... pun intended. :twisted: :lol:

Heard a few handgun cracks and a boom that sounded like a rifle shot that did the trick. Handgun suggests that the Boar was already badly wounded and that the hunters did not expect it to be in the condition to run or charge them. The animal generally runs downhill when wounded but one has seen a few going uphill as well. Dangerous shooting position never the less.

ps: was quite impressed to see the hunter taking care of his rifle while slipping downhill.

I think next time they will carry a 10 GA or at least a 12 Ga shotgun loaded with O Buck while going up this hill. SHOTGUNS RULE { specially when going after W Bs up the hill or down the Hill,unless one wants to JACK n JILL }

That's a close-run thing! I would not be interested in tangling with such a critter. From the looks of it, my guess would be that this is in Texas somewhere.

My God . That was a close shave.
Hunting on the hills can get dangerous.
That poor fellow lost his balance even before he could fire the first shot.
