Game Fishing India

Post by Mack The Knife » Wed Jun 06, 2007 12:08 pm

This is a charter operation that belongs to my friends Darran and Akshay. Probably the only one of it's kind in India.

Have a look at the pics in the Gallery section to get a feel of the action.

Matey, Not trying to sound harsh, a please in the beginning and a thanks at the end not only sound a bit more polite but also generate helpful responses.

I did not even realise the absence of a 'please' or 'thanks'. Probably due to that red mist that blinds me when a thread is hijacked so....

Darran just sent over some pics from the Andamans.

To quote him, "Some pictures of our latest catches from the Andamans, we have on average being getting about 80-100 fish (GT's) per six day trip a lot of bigger fish, plenty of bust offs and lost poppers, although there are still plenty of rat GT's."

Enjoy the pics.

Must be taking a major thumping with those monster GT's, I remember Darren telling me that when a GT hits your lure, ends up with a very 'shaken and stirred' angler.
Great fishing out there...

Just in case you were wondering, they follow a catch and release policy as far as possible.

According to those who have done this, there comes a time when the angler prays that his line does not get hit.

Wish we were in such an enviable position, eh?

Does conservation really matter when fishing in the sea?
