Night Vision Binocular/Monocular

Im looking to buy a Night Vision Binocular/Monocular. Will be used for adventure trails, sightings, security.
Can we get one in India or is it permisible for imports?
Please suggest some good models & from where to buy?
Gen. 2,3, etc. will work out very costly, so inclined towards Gen.1
