Lions are not tough hide and big bone animals , so the bullet may have not expanded as is should have

But it's a half an inch hole to drop any big game animal in it's tracks - Haji

He was talking about bullet failure or not having chosen an appropriate bullet.NOt the calibre.I like the .416 Rigby myself. :cheers:

It's where you make that hole, that counts, not the size of the hole.
1. Bullet placement. 2. Bullet performance. Distant 3. Bullet size.

Would post the pics very soon its an awesome one of the best that i have come across in my life, have tried very hard for the cartridges but sadly couldn't find although 9,3x62 is available in india, presently only 1 or may be 3 companies do make the cartridge of which RWS is i am sure that definitely makes it.See the link to know more about the cartridge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9.3_x_64_Brenneke
