Abhijeet,
When time permits, you need to come down for a fishing trip as well along with Asif and Dev.
I realise your first try with rod and reel was a bit of a bore but I assure you you will take to it and love it.

Dev,
I am going to hold you to that. Let's do it - preferably whilst schools are still closed for the summer hols. They reopen on 6th and 20th June for both my sons.
Abhijeet, why not combine business with a bit of outdoors?

P.S.: Sent the pellets with Asif. The Crosman Premiers and Eley Wasps are oxidised but if you wash, dry and lube them they should be fine.

The location was the Shivasamudram area just off the Cauvery.
More details here...

Pran, I was only interested in catching rohu and drew a blank - fourth time in a row.
Why mahseer at night? We wanted to fish rather than sit on our behinds and get sozzled.Mahseer is frequently caught at night.

Guessed it right then.
Till what time in the night did you guys fish? Is that a coracle I see doc sitting on?
OT, but did you find the croc poo(posted earlier) in this area?

Ah, which is why I am partial to field sports.... you can do both safely!
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Besides, for someone recovering from a childhood attention deficit disorder.... field sports offer a tad more in terms of things to do....
LOL
J/k guys, don't mind me....
Cheers!
Abhijeet
P.S. - Rusty, make it up north this summer... we may have a pleasant surprise in store for you buddy!

Lovely pics. No cocktails to go with the fried fish? Just let me know if you need recipes - I do post there on the NE forums on a regular basis and would happily offer some here if needed.
Cheers!
