Just outside of the Park, I saw little Miss Moose munching away in the thicket, and pulled over to snap her pic.

After traveling through Wyoming and Colorado, here's yours truly and his Bride at the top of Raton Pass, that place of legend where the shade of Uncle Dick Wooten keeps watch. Now, we enter that little corner of Paradise on the way home.

This is the start of the Great Plains country, along Highways US 87 and US 64 from Raton to Clayton, New Mexico. You can see a lot of the bluffs and mesas that the Southwest is famous for, and also you will note that there are a number of volcanic cones in view.
