Fantastic,pics,Tim.Pleasure to see these animals in their natural surroundings. And, nothing is more attractive than a dip in cool,fresh water on a hot summer day.
BTW,Could you please explain why so many trees are felled?Was it due to natural causes or timber logging?The hills look a tad bare.

Its good to see buffalo and sad to see what the word 'herd' means now.
Buffalo herds were the largest collection of living mass on earth.
I wont go on about the sad past but thank god for the buffalo to have survived and that they can stioll be seen in their native environment.
Hope one day the future generations will again see the buffalo in their full glory.
