The first video is profoundly moving if nothing else. Nature is brutal etc. But, I cannot stop from anthropomorphising sometimes.
The last one was funny and the mutt was really lucky because it wasn't shot by the police.
Thanks for sharing the videos,Navi.Enjoyed them.
Best-

Loved the warthog video.
A friend who is an honorary wildlife warden witnessed a couple of wild elephants fighting last month in the Rajaji National Park . The older one was about 50 yrs old and had an amazing set of tusks. The fight was over territory. They fought for days together. It was almost like a never ending wrestling match. Interestingly the fight was without much trumpeting. Infact contrary to what people may assume , it was very silent. Almost like a tug-of-war. They never ate during the entire fight but would stop in between to take rest. This resting period was mutual and there was no breach of trust.Like true warriors ....after the "time-out", they would get ready again and the battle would start all over again. The fight ended with the death of the older tusker.

I didnt realize or had forgotten that Rajaji is adjacent to Doon valley ..remember driving by it on old Saharanpur to Dehra Dun road ..Hopefully you get to see it a lot..regarding the Old Bull's demise sad but the nature takes care another thing typically folks / documentary makers due to ethics always discouraged to intervene and save the animal in peril..
