My brothers in Arms.
I have been a hunter all my life, i've been in NZ since2004 and have gone hunting since my 3rd day in the country, yes i know im very fortunate.I hunt almost every weekend, we shoot rabbits and hares, with shotgun and .22, we also shoot pheasants a,quail,ducks geese etc in season, most recently though i took my first red deer, txt book shot, i was very pleased to say the least. her are some picyys.

just yesterday we went for a stroll with shotguns, it was magnificent, we accounted for 5 hares all running shots within 2 hours, i may have even bowled some over with clay shooting ammo

I use a Sako .308 with a Burris 14-22x 40 scsope for my 'big game'
a .22 Anschutz witha 9x30Gamo Vampir Scope with flash light and laser for small game.
A browning A5 for my wing shooting

Hmmm even got a nice moderator on the .22...nice work I mistook the .22 to be a marlin or a ruger.
What make is the moderator that you use ? Is it BR TOTE?

The suppressor on the Ruger is a screw in type, i think the brand is Sak and it is of European manufacture, pretty generic here though, the silencer on the Anschutz is a custom made 'slip over type'..
Your moderator is my kinda guy simply cos hes got pictures of guiness going on.
Just came back from shooting for a winery. I musta put a 150 rounds through a new shotgun i picked up today, i had a blowout of the barrel in my A5 so its up at the gunsmiths.

what knickers and thats where all the fleas
come from, and yep thats the Sako .308 on long shots thers a bit of a lag from shot to impact, so i might spring for something faster maybe a .243
, new rifle here i come.........

did too want something light to top off hares and such like at long distance and double up on deer, but guys heres wat im really all fired up about, wild cattle in the Raukumaras, wont say anymore till i have piccys.

Sure, a 243 with a 70 grainers sounds right, though you can go upto 95 or 100grn spbt for game in 200-350lb class.flat shooting too.

Might I suggest the 6.5x55 Swede.Have only read good things about it.'Kicks like a .243 and kills like a 30-06' is one de.scription that I have read. Would love to have a rifle in this caliber.It's not possible in the present situation though.
