You asked for solutions. We gave you legal and practical solutions. What you do or your family does is not our business. As long as you are here, do not talk about breaking Indian laws. The rules are clear.
BTW, just to keep you informed, no one can hide on the internet.Any post can be tracked to a few metres of geographical location. Some may take a bit more time and effort that's all. So,please play nice and follow the rules.

Re: Hunting foxes is legal?
The dogs in the video have been trained to catch fish or they have learned the art from other adult dogs. If you properly train and feed the dogs, they will not do such acts. I have seen many pet dogs guarding chickens, goats, sheep etc. in villages. They never kill them, instead they guard them. You do not have do go for any costly, high sounding breed of dogs.
1) Go for ordinary village dogs/pups. Take couple of them near the ponds, feed them there and train them. Once the dogs start considering the area around ponds as their "territory" they will create enough ruckus to keep the foxes etc. away. I am confident, they will serve your purpose in a cost effective way.
2) Create some sort of fence around ponds by planting cactus and other thorny bushes etc. Keep only one entry/exit point to the pond which you can close or open as required.

Re: Hunting foxes is legal?
Dear kanwar76,
Now I have started checking the legal route to eliminate the foxes ( the problem is not only for me, it is almost the problem of all the village), while i am checking the wild life act completely, I found the above provision given by Indian law to protect human rights too. I want to keep it for all the friends who has given the valuable suggestions here.
I know this is not legal section but it is only for the notice of all friend who are following this topic, may be most of the village people also have the same type of problem. coming monday 01-09-2010 our village surpanch and other main members of the village are going to give a memorandum to the district collector regarding this and let us see what action will be taken by the governamet side.

If you mean to say my post is irrelevant, I will explain, We are discussing to find solution for some problem from few days and came to a almost final conclusion to keep some dogs, but after watching the videos again the problem remains the same.In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Re: Hunting foxes is legal?
This is a very interesting thread, though I have nothing to contribute to the solution. I will say that India and the US are, uh, different .. You guys are certainly doing your best to help Don, however, within the limits of what is legal there.
