I appreciate your presentation & writing skills, but please avoid pasting live hunting pictures, it may embarrassed many of us.

Really, Are you a vegetarian? You've never eaten meat?
You don't wear leather shoes? Wear a leather belt?
No.. well, good for you.

If you do, however, keep in mind that someone had to kill a real live animal to get those items. What is the difference between a butcher slitting an animals throat or me shooting one? You think that is rude or gross? You can refuse to acknowledge where the leather for your shoes comes from or where your meat comes from but it is a fact of life that for you to get those items, an animal has to die. These items don't just magically appear, neatly wrapped ...on a supermarket shelf.

I'm sorry if you are sensitive to a photo of a dead animal but did you not see where the title of this section is "Hunting, Hiking, Camping, Fishing and other Fresh Air Activities". You always have the option of not looking at anything that you don't agree with.

:agree: with you xl

Hello
Can you post some more information about Kenneth Anderson's son. Is he still in India. Kenneth Anderson died in 19750. His books make interesting reading and he has written much about his son who was an avid deer hunter. Incidentally Anderson did not fancy hunting deer

Hello SudhaIOB,

Here is some information on Kenneth Anderson (not his son, mind you)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_Anderson_(writer)

However an excerpt from a review of his book This is the Jungle does mention Donald - his son:

http://www.mouthshut.com/review/This-is ... -pnqmttunp

Many of the Anderson fans will know that he had a son named Donald. In this volume there are some photographs of ’Don’ hunting in the jungle, and a chapter titled ’’Lonely Panther of Kuppa Gudda Hill’’ is about Donald’s hunting.

Mention of is son is also seen in the website Kenneth Anderson Nature Society (KANS): http://www.kans.org.in/HonoraryMembers.html

Donald Anderson - Son of Kenneth Anderson. Aged around 75 but still fit and active. He lives in Bangalore and fully supports KANS' cause.
June Anderson - Daughter of Kenneth Anderson. She lives in Australia and supports KANS in all ways possible. Her son, Chris, does lots of conservation activities in Vietnam.

Deal xl, i read this post when you posted and was going to comment about the WI pics looking like the english countryside but i just realised i never posted any comment on it. Even when some pseudo-consevationists posted a reply:shock:

Anyways, a good read and you are one of the few people who look more handsome with age.
