new rod

Post by dev » Sat Dec 23, 2006 5:59 pm

Okay Guys went crazy looking for this baby. But finally picked up a shimano matchline rod 7 ft long. Matched with a Jarvis Walker reel (VTR2 350) plus a pack of hooks, 8 and 12 pound line, bunch of sinkers, floats. Thinking of buying some line lube and a carrying case. Can't find the famed mepps plano spinner though?

The rod is designed for 6-8 kg weight fish...if I ever get that lucky. There is so much to choose from it drives you crazy. ;-)
