Launch of The Indian Game Gazette , Journal of the Wild Game Pan India
Dear Friends, it gives me immense pleasure to introduce The Indian Game Gazette , Journal of the Wild Game Pan India. This first of a kind initiative by Rajeev Mathew is indeed a step in the right direction towards highlighting and promoting sustainable conservation and wildlife management. Rajeev has been working in the field as an independent consultant with many state forest departments.
The journal Indian Game Gazette is launched today commemorating the birth anniversary of Richard Lydekker who was a palaeontologist, a geographer, and a naturalist and his main work in India was on the Siwalik paleofauna.
This premier volume has some interesting articles by eminent naturalists and conservationists like Dr HS Pabla, Raza Kazmi, Gurpreet Singh and Sanjay Thakrey. Read, enjoy and kindly support this initiative.
Please click on the link below to download the journal. Thank you.

Thank you for posting this, Vikram -- very interesting reading. Enjoyed the mix of historical vs. current perspectives. Any idea on how often The Indian Game Gazette will be published? Will future issues also be uploaded here on IFG or does the publication have its own online webpage?

Do not wish to be critical but the word 'Game' for wild animals connotes hunting. Why come out with an Indian Game Gazette when hunting is banned in this country?. An article by Pabla on conservation does not change the thrust of the publication. Game licences were abolished in 1971.
Please call it hunting stories/experiences or something similar. Cloaking it and calling it a Game Gazette makes it worse. You are flirting with the law here.
Just my two cents.
