Is it illegal to kill vermin (rats) in cities? - That can be a local hunting

IIRC rodents destroy almost 50% of ALL FOODGRAINS produced in India!!!shahid";p="27070 wrote: No idea, shootinf rats comes under pest control I guess. Bandicoots are a common pest at farms and are known to siphon off food grains.Don't see any harm in killing them.There's a certain community of people in Karnataka who smoke them out of their holes and eat them!
