Can they do it legally? or protesting?
we believe in animals right here. we apply simple rule. if the animal are out of the hole then its right to shoot them. if in the hole let them be.
as to the laws, its the local village council, who makes and keeps the laws, if any one who does not belong to the village, wants to protest then let them as they are outsiders and have no say in the matter.
the ban on hunting is related to wild game. not on domestic game. so if one keeps a pig and wants to eat it then they are killed and eaten. if one has hundred chickens and want to kill them and eat than its not breaking the law of hunting. therefor if one has hundred birds in a cage and they are let loose and one calls some friends to find and kill them for the pot its is not hunting. since they are caged/domestic game thus they are not wild.

Maneka Gandhi the desi version of Rosie O'Donnell. Just like Rosie's bodyguard was applying for CCW, our desi Maneka was enjoying 3 guns (I heard the handguns were stolen though) I hope unlike Sarah Palin, Maneka knows how to hold and cycle a rifle

I'm feeling kinda sad for not saving picture I came across on Google image search of a lady holding a "God bless the Second Amendment" poster in the Million Mom March, if anyone has it feel free to post here.
When I'll get to shoot a gun?

GUYS.....
in kerala already the guide lines are released....!
Before Planning to hunt down the boars, you have to inform nearest forest range office...they will analyze the the damage of crop...
..you cannot shoot a baby boar,/a pregnant boar... after the hunt the body should be destroyed(ie this should not to be taken for food/eating purpose).in presence of forest officials.
These are the main objectives of the order...!(and some points look funny..ie... like pakkaa govt orders ...you know what i mean...!)
IN my area which is near to IDukki periyar wildlife/ elephant reserve....the jungle side villagers includes my fathers elder brother facing the real threat from these pigs..every year.....! their tapioca fields (which is in acres are literally getting destroyed within week. they tried, every available options including metal fences under voltage electric current...etc.. as per them this pigs are coming in a whole group having some 20-25 members....@ 2-3 o clock of the night..normally people used camp fire/rotation security to defend this...but even that also they never succeed..He is having a SBML lisence and it was laying like a waste there....but now i think things are changed when i was there ,in last month my "appachi" ( my cousin bros father) was telling about this new law....and they are using their guns to defend this intruder from their farms...! he is a licensed hunter in eighties..as per him it is the one of the old law which they were deleted later.after gettin consent from forest dept. we tried two nights to and shot once a single one ( i don't know whether it was a hit..because in serchlight you cannot see this creature standing condition it was like flying of two bright eyes ...atleast to me) ..but till my return they are not succeed to shoot down a single one.....i don't know what is the condition now.... will update later......
