It says ultra cast design and size 7 and 17lbs-340 yds with 25 lbs-230 yds Made in Korea.
Can anybody tell me whether it is any good and what kind of fishing it would mainly be used for ?

Hello Asif, the rod was bought with the reel.It is a chinese made telescopic rod, fibreglass I think, got "DPH Powerstick 360" written on it, length: 3.6 m section: 7 casting weight 15-30 gms.The guides look like they are ceramic.eljefe";p="12544 wrote: HI Yaj,
Where's the rod?![]()
you seem to have a decent reel-Abu is a well known name, dont know about the Korean origin.Abu originally designed and made in Sweden...thought China makes most of the branded and non branded stuff...

Depends on the line loaded-Maxm is 230Yds of 25 lbs breaking strength line.
Get your self a 7-8 foot spinning rod of similar rating.
You need to load it up with 15-20lb line and- lets go fishing!
Best

Line capacity seems to be decent.
Before you load any line, what sort of fishing do you do - Powai lake, beach or offshore?
Could you post another pic alongside a known object, for instance a pack of fags, to get an idea of scale?
