Hi All,
Sharing some of my favorite photos which I took during my visit to Singapore Zoo. I hope you all will enjoy seeing them. The Camera used is my Canon EOS 550D.
This is the best way to enjoy wildlife by capturing these magnificent animals in a frame.
The white tigers in the photos attacked one of the zoo worker sometime in 2008. There are 3 white tigers in the zoo.One male & two females. The male is named OMAR and the two females JIPPIE & WINNIE attacked the zoo worker and killed him.
The video for the attack can be viewed on youtube - URL -
Nice pictures zaheer!
The White Tiger attack is truly scary - wonder what the victim was doing in the enclosure
Moral of the story - Break the Rules & You pay for it (may be with one's own life as shown in the video)

It was a suicide. The incident report said that the deceased had not accidentally fallen into the tiger enclosure, but had deliberately jumped into the moat, waded through the water...before thrusting his chest towards the advancing tiger with both arms outstretched.

Lovely photographs Zaheer.
.
That's an interesting way of dealing with an animal attack.
In Uttarakhand the next to kin of any person who dies in a man animal conflict is given 3 lac Rs as compensation.
I suggest that the forest depth. Should consider all such cases as suicide

In nine out of ten cases it is man who encroached upon the wild animals habitat. If that is done
The dept. Can save some money and put it to better use. It MAY also act as a deterant for people who make our jungles a free for all place. Exploiting it to the max n thereby causing irreversible damage.
. My personal thoughts. I know they will never be implemented
