Leeds Royal Armoury
A while back our practical sword fighting class went to see and handle some antique swords at the Leeds Royal Armouries Museum, its pretty nifty and a good visit for anyone interested in weaponology.

Nice photos, Ponen.
The Imperial War museum ones were especially enjoyable.
The one of the tower with the arms on the walls was incredible.
Looks like there is a rare Polish Radom P.35 by the P-38

Re: Leeds Royal Armoury
Hi Vikram, its a shame you missed it, it has quite a comprehensive collection of arms from all ages and is contrasted with the Imperial war Museums which concentrate on conflicts of the British and commonwealth from the first world war onwards. I will have to put up some pics from the Imperial war museum but too lazy search for them now, so maybe tomorrow.
p.s. I just checked the Imperial war museum website and it seems the London branch is closed for redevelopment and will be partially open from July 2013, so bear that in mind if anyone is planning to head that way soon.

Hi Vikram,
Just had a look at your post and it pretty much covered the items I went through myself, which thankfully means I dont have to upload any more stuff . All this museum visits makes me realize I should one day head over to Normandy for the D-Day remembrance days, but not in the forseeable future, one day though.
