For my son Ethan: A Daisy Red Ryder.
I've heard a story or two from almost all gun enthusiast I know here in the US about this little BB gun. Hope Ethan will share his own story someday...

What a wonderful gift, and with it also comes great responsibility that will get imbibed in the youngster for years to come and remain with him as a adult. He must be thrilled!!

Aha! The famous (or infamous) Daisy Red Ryder. Every kid should have one.

Mine wasn't called a "red ryder" because it had a plastic stock but I eventually actually wore it out. We had a street sign at the far end of a field, it must have been 180 yards and I could hit it almost every time by aiming a particular height above it, probably about 15 feet! It was very satisfying to shoot and hear the "bong" it would make about 8 seconds later!

Learning how to handle a weapon safely and responsibly is a big reason why Ethan got this gun. He has the gun but no BBs. At his age, dry firing a BB gun is as much fun as shooting a real one is for us!

Lovely gift, seems to fit him well. He will grow into a lever gun lover though.

Nice gift for your son. I treasure the memories of my grandfather and uncles teaching my brother and myself to use the diana 25 when we were kids. We used to finish all the oats tins, coconut shells and the back wall was peppered with pellet marks.
regards,
drifter.
