You want more gun control? Use both hands!

God made man and God made woman, but Samuel Colt made them equal.

One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. by Jose Gasset.

Great Pics, full_circle. New England's a place which I've marked for visit before I cross over.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Oh man, these are wonderful. Reminds me of my two years in New England. Try to go to the White Mountain area if you can. Do "the Kanc" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kancamagus_Highway). It is just amazing, words don't do justice. This is what I'd do, take 93N all the way, and take 112 (Kanc) to Conway, then north on 302, looping back to meet 93 (have to get on to rte3). You will have pictures and memories for a lifetime, in any season (well, some roads are closed in winter), I speak from personal experience. Enjoy the fall :)

havent been in the NE for almost ten years now. BTW since you're in the area do yourself a favor and drive up to Springfield and visit Smith and Wesson. They have a decent range, and you can rent guns from what I remember.
