Hi ,

It has been a long time that I was thinking to share some of the beautiful pictures taken in my ancestral house located in a place called koonthakulam. This place is somewhere 30 KM far from Tirunelveli district.

This place is a bird sanctuary and you can see lots of migratory birds and native Indian birds.

Following are some of the pictures taken from my sisters blog spot about this place.

My great grandfather built this house. Its more than 100 years old , still my aunt and uncle lives here. This has a big hall called as the "Kalyana Mahal" where all the family weddings and celebrations in our family takes place.
Most of the Tamil movies shootings takes place here.
