At what range were you shooting? If it was the standard 25m, you must not be too hard upon yourself - it would take a really good shot to squeeze a good group out of a Webley & Scott Mark IV .32 cal at 25 metres. Since your primary purpose would be self-defence, try and practice at a more practical distance of 10-15 metres.

Tip: Practising with an air-pistol would really help improve your aim at a very low cost. You can consider doing 3 sessions with an air-pistol and 1 with your revolver each month.

Keep at it! :)

Cheers!

I'm from Jorhat. Few years ago, I went to Nalbari with a friend of mine hoping to get some White leghorn chicken breed. If I remember correctly, we were in a restaurant (Named "Sampurna" or something like that) and you were buying something from a shop near the restaurant.

Thanks Abhijeet.......................Actually I live in a town which is about 70 kms from Guwahati where the range is located. Moreover I run a retail shop so it becomes very difficult for me to spare 4 days in a month. But still I try my best..................I am looking for an air pistol for target practice at home and my budget is not that high. I am really confused. I am going to Delhi in Nov 1st week. Please suggest me a shop where I can get a good variety of air pistols.
