Safari - RSA Part II - Equipment
Ammo:
Do not have a picture of the 22 - 250 PMC Ammo
Performance, on the left is the 30 - 06 with the Barnes TSX, full copper round, perfect mushroom after transverseing a Zebra from the chevron above the front leg all the way diagonally to the belly, it was the only one we recovered from 4 animals, the rest all exited with massive exit wounds. The 22 - 250 and a fragment of its bullet. These never exited and fragmented internal to the animal causing serious damage internally:
Optics:
Leopold on the rifle, Ziess 10 X 25 and 8X30. The 10 X 25 was amazingly clear and to be honest I could not tell what advantage the 10 X 30 offered over it:
Benchmade knife, did not use it for anything other than sharpening a pencil do one of the brats could do his homework:
Stories on all 8 animals follow, need to get my hands on the pictures my wife took with her uber cool telephoto lens.
