1. First create a folder in your Google Drive, for photos you wish to share on this/ other forums. Next make that folder and it's contents shared with anyone who has the sharing link.

2. For this right click on the folder and click on on "share"


3. Next Click on "Advanced"


4. Where you see "private only you can access", click on the "change" link


5. Of the three options listed select "on - anyone with the link". Also ensure that "Access:Anyone (no sign-in required)" is set to "can view only". Now click "save"


6. Upload your files to this folder that you have just made shareable via link

7. Now right click on the photo you wish to post, and select "get shareable link"


8. A link will be displayed and also simultaneously copied to your clipboard (so you can simply paste in the next step)


9. Go to the thread/ post where you wish to post your photos/ create a new thread/ etc. at the forum. Click on reply / compose (as appropriate) and post the link (from step 8 above) as appropriate within the post. The link to the photo will look something like the screenshot below.


10. To check and see if the photo is displaying correctly, click on "preview", if all is right, you should see the photo(s) being displayed in the preview pane like the screenshot below.

Steps 1 to 5 are one time only.

For all future photo posts, you just need to follow only steps 6 through 10.
