Guys! I am interested in a holistic approach to Personal and home defence. I am looking into things like Meditation (to calm the mind), close quater combat as in Krav Maga, weapons (of course guns and sticks and throwing stars) and strategic driving.

I have been practising meditation for 10 years now. I am trying to take it to the next level. Self-hypnosis etc.

Close quater combat: I am looking to join Krav Maga. I am planning to join vicky kapoor who teaches in Delhi and one of his trainer is teaching in noida.

Weapons: I think joning a shooting club.

Strategic Driving: Still trying to find out where I can learn that. There are a few guys teaching in Russia but nothing in India.

Any inputs? Anyone else doing the same who would like to share the road to sucess?

LOL,Vikas.Never take a knife to a gunfight,eh?

But, the OP did say about learning to shoot.Being familiar with all kinds of weapons is a good idea.

Best-
Vikram

My idea is Use anything and everything that gets the job done. That is why it is 'holistic'?

you may change your ideas about Krav maga after watching this DVD. Another good thing about Krav maga is that in most major cities in India well qualified instructors are available.

Krav Maga Street Fighting (Alain Formaggio)
Simplicity and efficiency are the key words to the techniques of body to body Israeli close combat. And they are the bases of modern Krav Maga that you find in the DVD. React in an efficient way and get rid of any attacks: grabs, strangle, belting, punches, kicks, threats or attacks with knives, sticks, guns... Surviving in an urban place, facing street combat, this is what this Street Fighting DVD offers you.
