Amazing presence of mind and bravery showed by the wife and man. This shows why a gun is a necessary tool against crooks. If they were unarmed the result would have been very different.

Very motivating and positive news. Hats off to the brave young couple. God bless them. Thanks for sharing. We must circulate such positive examples of responsible gun ownership to highlight the need for RKBA.

It is tempreament which is important and couple had prepared for wrost .They kept pistol under the bed very nice defence againist the intruder pistol saved the lives of other family members common people r more prone to violence to organised gangsters .Handgun is good for quick reaction in another incident in Amritsar a police officials house was breaked in from roof and from ground floor just he asked his son to fire from his 32 bore revolver and 315 rifle which became deterence for 12 armed men also temperament saved the joint family the armed men tried to devert the family by breaking window from front and in first floor second group opened the window tried to sneeak in but were fired upon the intruder also fired severel rounds when big bore 315 was used all fled leaving behind rods and emty rounds of 9MM.

Responsible Gun Ownership this is what it is all about. The critical difference to life and death.
My respect to the couple for being prepared, would love to know how this story unfolds further.
Just a quick question in such a scenario now that the license holder has used his firearm, is it taken away for investigation or he continues to hold it given the heightened threat perception?
