"The Little Beauty"

After 25 long years of waiting I have finally got this treasure in my hands. It belonged to my Father who bought it pre 1984 on one of his trips abroad.

I am a very poor photographer so i have not even bothered to take the pictures. I am taking the pictures from the company website and due credit to them for such an excellent product.

Ladies and Gentleman i present to you the Winchester 9422 .22LR XTR

A friend of mine called it a Little Beauty and i will call it the same forever.

The details and pics of the rifle are available here at
http://www.winchesterguns.com/products/ ... mid=524024

The rifle with me is exactly the same in dark brown walnut stock. I have a Weaver V22A 3-6 straight steel tube scope on it. ( I dont know what such type of scope is called and i read it is 1970's vintage.) It is also my dads and i intend to keep the traditional look as it is.

The debate is endless about which is the best Lever action .22LR, The MARLIN 39A or The WINCHESTER 9422

I have requested another friend to take pictures for me and I will post the same in a few days.

Why did you have to wait 25 years? This is a beautiful rifle. A classic indeed.

Congratulations.... this is one of the better maintained rifles. Give my regards to the old man for keeping it so well.

as you said, keep it 'traditional'...no need to stick it with modern doodats.

regards,
cc

Very nice gun. Thanks for sharing.

I am amazed at the nice condition of the rifle as it is difficult come across a rifle/gun in such a good condition in India.

Magnificent rifle, very well mantained and kindly pass on my regards to your Dad for preserving it so well, shows his intense love for the gun and also speaks volumes about you, since he has seen you fit to take care of it. Happy Shooting mate.
