IZH BAIKAL MP-161K SMALL-BORE MAGAZINE CARBINE- THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RIFLE I EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.

I saw this rifle when I was just browsing for Air Guns. Frankly as soon as I am getting my license I am going to get this gun. When I saw it first time I thought am I dreaming it looks like some kind of Space-age weapon like we see in star-war or star-trek movies. Man sure as hell Russians know how to design weapons.

Magazine carbine chambered in .22LR, .22WМR and .17HМR for hunting small game, target shooting and plinking. Hammer type trigger group with cocking indicator. The "Weaver" rail enables mounting of various sights. Original ergonomic design, glass-fiber reinforced high-strength plastic, elastic grip and for end materials, adjustable stock length and the cheek height provide for maximum comfort in shooting. Inertial locking system based on bolt action. Windage and elevation adjustable open sight. Sighting radius - 50 meters.

Hi Roostum,
Well They have dealer in Germany from where i am going to buy it. I am going to apply for the arms license in couple of days. Just busy with work. i will buy it when i will be going to Germany & hopping to get my license by then. Going to take it with me as undercarriage baggage. i have asked the dealer to send me the invoice and should reach me in couple of days.

You cannot import a firearm if you do not have an import licence for the same.

I`ve never seen a review of this rifle even though it has been available for a few years now. Seems pretty silly to me to covet something on looks alone without knowing whether or not it shoots straight or is reliable.

Import of fire arms has been banned since 1986....the only way you can import one these days is if you are a renowned shot...and to be one you need to have a MQS in the Nationals...

It looks like a semi-auto to me so that makes it a prohibited firearm in our country .
