30-06 rifles available in India

Can you suggest some foreign made 30-06 rifles that might be available for sale in India?

You can find many older imported rifles and some recently imported rifles. Winchester, Browning, Remington, Krico,etc., are decent makes. However, the price may not commensurate with what you get. An IOF .30-06 is quite decent and not stupidly expensive.

Recent imports such as Blaser, Mauser,etc., can cost a bomb.

Well you can buy from a owner or you can check some of the private gun shops. But be warned most of them will extort you.

It so happens that a friend in Madhya Pradesh has sent me pictures of a Remington rifle in 30-06 calibre fitted with a beautiful telescopic sight. The whole outfit is in pristine condition.

I am tempted to buy it but my immediate requirement is for a .375 Holland and Holland Magnum and I am very reluctantly passing it over.

hi guys i've been particpating in big bore and also 50m events, now that i got my license the authorites have issued a 22 rifle with an additional barrel license, where i was hopng for an addtional weapon, so im lookng for a switch barrel with30066 and also 22 caliber, also can you tell me if could just buy 2 weapons with this lcense

We explained it very clearly with pictures on the other thread that there are no known models that allow swapping .22LR and .30-06 barrels. Your search will be futile. You better have the license corrected.

Mujhe lagta h ki india m foreign made weapon only national level shooter ko hi suit krte h ek to unhe rate sahi mil jata h or custom m thodi relaxation mil jati h.normal civilian ke liye jo available h market m before 1985-87 woh weapons ek to overbore ho chuke h or ya to kafi overpriced h.india m foreign made weapon only 12 bore shotgun ka price hi genuine milega.baki apko imported pistol 32 bore ka 3L-10L tk se niche nahi milega.imported rifle ka bhi wahi same seen h.so I advise better to buy our indian iof made rifle 30-06 .22 .32pistol with imported ammo it compete any imported weapon.bas bhai saahb shok or jaroorat puri kijiye bas baki sab bdiya.availiblity m waise apko Winchester remington model ww1 1917 eddystone 30 Springfield approximate 5L Mauser 7L.win model70 remington 700 arram se 7-10 L tk milegi.or inhi weapons ka rate foreign m around 70000-1.50L ₹ tk hota h.

Can you please tell us how much is his asking price for the rifle? With and without the scope?
