Indians For Guns

Hi guys,

Me and my younger brother are planning to get IOF .30-06 and .22 Sporting Rifles, respectively. I want to get riflescopes for the both rifles. Please suggest the model and make. I have been researching on my own. I purchased Nikon P223 3x32mm, which I think will suffice for .22 Rifle. For .30-06 I think 4x or more will suit. Please help with the websites or distributors in India which sell Vortex, Bushnell or any other Affordable riflescopes.

Some forum members are using it.i suggest you contact directly to know the performance and qualify

I should add that kovibazaar also has some decent Chinese replica scopes that you can check out. I got a Gamo replica scope from them recently and found it to be quite decent albeit a tad expensive compared to getting one from aliexpress. However you should have a look at their website and see.

Hi Blazemaster, I checked KoviBazaar and AliExpress. KoviBazaar has all riflescopes sold out, but their Bipods are decent. AliExpress might not ship their products to India, but I'll email them and confirm.

AliExpress does actually ship scopes to India, but sometimes they tend to get stopped at customs and you are required to furnish them with supporting documents as they come under items restricted for import.
That being said, a lot of fellow IFGians have been able to order and have scopes delivered to them. You can read about their experiences on various posts across the forum like this one http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25036 and decide if you want to go that route.

Dear Sathvik, Sports or no sports, my concern is that I can't find any website or online portal which ships Bushnell, Vortex or other riflescopes to India. Please help me with a online shop from where I can buy riflescopes and they ship it safely to India.

All state or amateur level championships are on peep sights or open sights. Scopes are not permitted. Both 30.06 and 0.22 IOF come with open sights. You could order a peep sight from Precihole sports. Its good value for money

Dear Satvik,

For me the riflescope is an integral part of bolt action rifle. IOF .30-06 and .315 rifles have effective ranges more than 300 meters. To hit target effectively at that range needs a good riflescope. I have seen lots of poor quality riflescopes on rifles in my town. My aim was to get a Bushnell, Vortex or equally performing scope. My search is on.
