Dear Folks:
How do you store your break-barrel Air Rifle for extended periods? Do you apply oil/greese on it? Which oil do you use for internal and external points?

Do we need to oil the bore of the barrel too during extended storage?

How do you protect your rifle during extreme humid conditions (during summers when there is heavy rain and during winters when there is dense fog)?

All I do is wipe the metal parts with a piece of soft cloth soaked with few drops of Mobil.Wipe the wooden stock with soft cloth.Plug the muzzle end with a rolled small cloth.
Then put the gun in the plastic wrap that came with the gun and don't forget to put the dessicant inside the plastic.
Though I do this after every shooting session however short it may be.

I don't know whether it is advisable to put oil inside the barrel but I never put anything inside the barrel.

Added in 2 minutes 29 seconds:
The piece of rolled cloth inside the muzzle is sufficient to keep the barrel clean.

Is mobil not thick enough for lubricating an AR? How about sewing machine oil?

Sewing machine oils works fine for me.I use it for everything from cleaning to lubricating my weapons.

Few drops of unused Mobil is sufficient to wipe the whole gun.The consistency of the Mobil is neither too thick nor too thin.It does the job perfectly.
Can't tell you about the sewing machine oil as I never used it.

1 know ur gun and mechanism ..
2 if piston is of leather material some oil in cylinderis advised
3 if piston seal is synthetic then never pour oil in cylinder .
4 for metal part
A ) if it's blued put a thick coat of 2t oil or any oil on it
B ) for joints put the oil
5 for Worden parts please use a very good quality motor wax polish to protect wood .
6 run a oiley patch in the barrel.
7 wrap it in place cover that will avoid moisture
8 after applying oil never touch blued parts
9 for powder coated use motor wax
