Sharing some pics of another old timer for the Mauser fans here, for some of us nothing says classic like a big bore mauser. Made by the ancient Suhl gun-maker Valentin Christian Schilling, founded 1816.

This particular gun is 100+ years old made around 1912-13, it is in 10.75x63 Mauser (.423) the forerunner of 10.75x68. This ammo became obsolete before the great war but can be still hand loaded. Bullets available for 10.75x68 and .404 Jeffery can be used as the diameter is the same.

Half octagon half round barrel, double set trigger, full length integral rib, iron sights.
