Oh, wow! I like it! With a solenoid to power the striker, I'll bet that the bolt is butter-smooth, too.

I could never afford one, but that's one rifle I'd like to shoot! It would be interesting to see what such a sighting system could do with other calibers. As I think about it, it makes my mind a little crazy: having the software track the reloading process and automatically program the sighting system according to bullet weight and powder charge, choose a bullet ballistic model, and head to the range. Then shoot over a chronograph to true up the ballistic information and "away we go!"

As the article noted, there are certainly going to be those who squawk about how "evil" these look.
