Hi,
Is IOF 0.22 a full copy of Brno Mod 2? Can the stock be interchangeable between Brno Mod2 and IOF 0.22?

I am not just asking outer appearance point of view. I am asking can the stock be interchanged between Brno and IOF?

Its a Good "JUGAD" for a 22 Cal Rifle,a Brno's Jugad,regarding the interchangeable Stock,not a chance,IOF is good at JUGADS,from the Revolver,to the 30-06

More or less the same design apart from the trigger system. It's a bit of a simplified version.
Sights are from the Mod 2 and the stock from the Mod 1. The twist ratio I believe is greater in the IOF. This may have been designed to compensate for quality issues with IOF/ KF ammo. Either it's 1:12 or 1:16. Someone who owns one would be able to shed more light on this.
Obviously quality issues are north pole-south pole types, but under no circumstance should one discount the performance capability of the IOF. A bit of tuning and TLC here and there, and it's a wonderful performer.
The new 2012 models will hit the market soon, after a hiatus of 4 odd years. Lets' see what they are like.

It has got faster twist as 1:8 clock wise . BRNO has anti clock - wise twist . BRNO owners may confirm.

I think I got my figures wrong. The Brno twist ratio should be 1:12 and IOF 1:8.

The standard twist rate for the .22 RF Long Rifle is 1-16" ; 400mm/15.75" on the European continent. Czech rifles usually have right hand twist.
