Brethren,
I might need some expert advise on the issue as I have just ended up burning 5K on ordering these from a US website. The products in the website seemed good to go for an IOF.30-06 rail (piccatiny) but finally didn't latch on as it was wider than the IOF scope rail. I already have the scope rings fitting alright but to save the scope from repeated recoil I need to mount it on a firm platform. Looking forward to your advise on the issue.

Please take time out and read the entire IOF .30-06 thread. All the info you want is already enumerated. In fact, you will get info on problems you are likely to face while setting up an optical sight too.
