I have a problem to work on relating to the Arms Act.

Remington XCR 700 Compact Tactical Rifles with 20” barrel and Glock 37
Handguns, 5 x .208 Win cartridges.
The fired projectiles are .208 Win bullets with 5.56 mm caliber.

These are the given information on the rifles, and I need to see if they are prohibited or not, when used by foreign agents in INDIA.

The details might be fictional, but how can I find out?

Thanks!

Welcome to IFG. Your questions are a bit vague.Clearer your questions are so are the answers that you may get.

Re IAA, the word prohibited is a misnomer and misleading.

1.Remington XCR 700 Rifle: It's a bolt action rifle. Not PB.

2. Glock 37: The pistol is not prohibited. The cartridge that it is chambered for.45ACP, is PB.

3.
The fired projectiles are .208 Win bullets with 5.56 mm caliber.
I am unable to understand this. What are you trying to get across? 5.56X45 NATO round aka .223 Remington has a diametre of .224 inch. It is not PB.

Re Foreign agents, I absolutely have no idea.If they are here on the permission of Indian government, they can bring in whatever they want is my wild guess.

This is already discussed in the last post plz look up... "used by foreign agents in INDIA" depends if its official or unofficial business has the government of India given them permit...
There is no .208 i guess its .308 and 5.56mm is prohibited and Glock 37 is also prohibited and these bores restricted only to government defense and security bodies...
