The primitive village area was a perfect place simulating something out of "Call of Duty ps3 series"
But the real feel or recoil and the three dimensional damage to the target is something which could never be simulated as reality.
It is an INSAS Standard Assault Rifle using 5.56X45 mm NATO ammunition. This rifle is based on the Kalashnikov AK-47 action with modifications. The basic gas-operated action (long stroke gas system, rotating bolt, and stamped steel receiver) is of the Kalashnikov pattern. The gas system is fitted with a manual gas regulator similar in design to that found on the FN FAL as well as a gas cutoff. The charging handle is positioned on the left side of the forearm; it is similar in position and design to the German HK G3 rifle. . The stock, handle and front support of this gun has a unique forest camo which blends well in darker maps such as Brushwood or Dark Forest . In terms of statistics, the gun is very effective, with high accuracy, average damage and superb rate of fire. With the same amount of stopping power as the M416 and fast fire rate, the INSAS Rifle is an effective choice at close ranges. Despite this, the INSAS Rifle also excels at medium to long ranges because of the pre-attached scope and high accuracy.
Found it a Little crude as compared to AK47 but the accuracy part is better for short range. I tested its accuracy only upto 25-30 mts estimated and found it to be comparatively better than 47.

Rest info awaited. :)

I am not too sure about it, I personally feel that the SLR is better, the only disadvantage the SLR suffers from is that it doesnt fire automatic or continous rounds at a single pull of a trigger.......................

Ravi,
the SLR is very hard for most people to control in full auto. The rifle is almost overpowered by the cartridge. Keep in mind the original design envisioned a lot smaller cartridge, an assault rifle cartridge if you must. The 7.62 X 51 chambering was a compromise to accommodate sales to NATO. The SLR is a battle rifle and the INSAS is an assault rifle. Still, the SLR is a fine rifle just as its parent the FAL is.

INSAS is quite an accurate rifle if its zeroed properly, i av achieved first shot hit at 100 yrds at a single brick with my service wpn n the brick was in 3parts,evn SLR can be modified to be fired in auto but as already been said its recoil is quite a handful n accuracy is also poor in auto mode..i hope our more learned n esteemed seniors can enlighten us more about this..

And you just need a file to do so. Hope ATF won't declare the Century imported Ishapore L1A1 as machineguns

MoB (Minute of Brick) isn't a great accuracy, when you compare it to AR15/M16 which can give 1/2 MoA, even 1/4 MoA.
Still if it can hit a human head upto 200 yards, it's a good assault rifle.
