coolaman,
White line spacers these days are akin to wearing bell bottoms.Their time is gone with the hippies.
Quite a bit of material seems to have been removed from the barrel where the rear sight is fitted. The chamber is in the barrel and removing a significant amount of steel directly in front of it is not a good idea. Also the machining does not appear to be flawless. The barrel has been turned into a straight tube.Strange profile for a barrel. The fellow who worked on it does not appear to have the skill to taper it.
The bolt knob appears to be oversize. Also the shape of the bolt is a bit odd.Your English walnut probably came from the Himalyas
But it is your rifle. If you are happy with it,I am happy for you.
An idea of what can be done to the IOF 30-06.A friend sent it to me.Done by Bobby Sidhu from Patiala
