Modification done on stock of IOF .30-06

Hi,
I have made a new stock for my IOF 30-06 with the old stock the line of sight (peep) was not that good. So I have to raise cheek for that and have put the Rail for the Hand stop and Bipod on the front stock. The front stock is the same not changed.

Denzil, where is the handstop? Or are you using the bipod as the handstop? Also I am assuming you would be participating in the free rifle prone event, so why not invest in a butt hook instead of using a recoil pad?

Denzil,
You seem to have used the IOF stock as a template with the addition of a higher comb.The excessive drop seems to have been carried over to the new butt stock.It is going to exaggerate recoil.

parallel comb is best .As I have seen in ruger rifle.

Hi Abhijeet,
I am using the Hand Stop. I have not taken the pics with it. Yes I am taking part in free rifle prone event and I am using recoil pad instead of butt Hook to reduce the recoil and these butt hook are good with Alu stock.
