National Air Rifles for intermediate.

Hello!
I am planning to buy a .22 rifle approx 100 m effective range. Which company should I prefer? National Air Rifle? or Canon? I plan to use it for target practice and also use it to control large pests in my village during the rice season.
Please let me know what all factors should I keep in mind.

I think in india their is no air rifle company which made the types of air rifles effective at 100m and capable of killing large pests.But national is best in all indian companies its effective range is about 35 to 40m

100 m effective range? That is more than a little optimistic for an .22 cal air rifle.
While there are high velocity .22 cal airguns available, very few are capable of duplicating the ballistics of the .22 LR. Among other things, the lighter airgun pellets are deviated more by wind and won't retain much energy at 100 m. If you do manage to hit something with your .22 airgun at 100 m, the pellet is going to be pretty ineffective.
30 to 40 m is more like what you should expect unless you are able to procure some of the ultra high velocity .22 airguns available on the international market and all those would fail the "deal wood" test.

IHP 35 or Canon LG 65...but I dont think anyone will give an effective range of 100 meters. I guess the best bet would be approx 20 meters effective.

Crosman Quest 1000x



In case I find the the specifications of the US rifles better for the price, I will go for them.
If any proud owners of such rifles can share their experience on maintaining these rifles and precautions that need to be taken, I will be happy to hear it.

Any ups, as to who can help me customize the .22 indian rifle? Approx I wanted 950-1000 fps velocity.
infact I have 2 choices now,
Air Rifle
Remington Vantage .17(scope included):
1200 fps
for Rs. 5450

National Air Rifle 35/50 0.22
still waiting for details from NAR
Rs.5800 average + customizing charge??

I believe Membership is a must...
